Lol if you bank with Nedbank.

Where to start..

I have been banking with Nedbank for years. My parents opened up my first savings account almost 25 years ago. And I myself have opened up a Cheque account 5 years ago. During these five years I have only had negative experiences with them.

Lets start with their savvy bundle account. You get 5 cards which you have to carry on a daily. 2 cheque cards + 2 credit cards + 1 greenbacks card. The reason for two cards is that one uses a mastercard card payment gateway while the other uses American Express. Every time you swipe your American express you get double the reward points. Let me tell you the every 9 out of 10 vendors that accept American express cards will decline your purchase. And if you shop online, I guarantee you will never be able to purchase using your americam express card. So what is the point of carrying an extra two cards which you pay a premium for?

American express gets you bidvest lounge access? I tried to gain entry to the Bidvest lounge today and was told that by the lounge official that Nedbank cancelled my access due to me not spending more than 4000 rand on my card?! I usually spend around 10 000 rand per month on either my Nedbank cheque or credit card. And obviously not using the American express card because it always gets declined. (This is the reason for the post. And for me it's the tipping point)

Lastly, my credit facilities with Nedbank. I called FNB after my last credit review with nedbank. FNB offered me four times the amount Nedbank said I qualify for?! How is this possible that a bank I have never used, trusts me more than my own bank.

Im not even going to explain the issues I have had with my online banking profile, re-ordering cards on the app etc.

Yeah I am so F*****g disappointed with Nedbank that not only will I switch to another bank before my next salary date. I have even turned down opportunities to work for them because I dont believe in this bank.
