List of empty promises

In short

1) Got a cheque account around 2007 at full cost even though I was a student at the time with a promise of improved credit rating--Not true
2) Opened a fixed deposit investment account in February 2012 with promise that money can be made available but a fine will be payable--This turned out to be up to the bank to decide whether you deserve to end the investment prematurely or not
3) App**** for a home loan in February 2014, was granted at a staggering prime +1.4% after 20% deposit (because I do not have a good credit score (see 1 above)) with a promise that the rate can be reviewed and reduced after 6 months of down payments--This ended up in me having to call some central call centre to realize that Nedbank do not negotiate interest rates. (Apparently since 2012)
4) Checked fund availability and confirmed that funds were available for debit orders going through on *** debit orders returned unpaid for no reason so I have no household or life insurance for a month

Now I am stuck with a massive interest rate and no way to reduce my debt because I cannot access the funds in my fixed deposit or reduce the rate AND I am at risk of theft and fire
