Leaving Nedbank for FNB

On 5 December we went to Nedbank Centurion Mall to get a statement of our social savings ckub account. We were told there are no signatories listed on the account by a teller. We then decided to come back the following day to fix this issue because not all the signatories were there on 5 December. On 6 December we went back to the Branch and met a banker that told us the teller that told us there were no signatories did not know they keep social savings club account at the branch. And thus no signatories in the system.

On 7 December we went to the branch to put a notice on the account and transfer the account balance to the members' accounts. We were told the branch had lost our FICA docs and we needed to submit them again. We stayed there for two hours doing that. The banker's name was Wandi. She told us everything was in order and she will place the notice same day and transfer funds on the following day. We called on Thursday only to be told that there's still no notice on the account. Today we still do not have our money.

We are moving our account to FNB next year where we will be able to withdraw our money immediately.

Nedbank Centurion's laid back culture disgusts me.
