Leaking Roof Claim

It is with great concern that I write to review the services I received from Nedbank Insurance for Home owners. On the 23rd of April I logged a complaint for a leaking roof. According to the policy they have to send an inspector within 48hours of registering the claim. Guess what happened? I had to follow up after a week and only got someone to inspect the property after more than 3 solid weeks ,18th of May to be precise.

As if that wasn't enough, The insurer rejected my claim on the basis of lack of maintenance on the property.

I bought this house a year ago. Surely what lack of maintenance would I have done in a year to warranty being labelled that I failed to maintain a roof? Worse off reject the claim. There are a lot of things listed in the inspection report that don't even conform to the current situation, a clear indication that the inspector who was sent is not professional to execute their duties truthfully

I always get similar responses every time a correspondence is sent. This doesn't help if you are not taking action and complying with what you are supposed to be doing. Honour up your work!!
