Laying of Complaint with Banking Ombudsman Compliant due to poor service.

I made contact with the Nedbank call centre wanting to find out the status of an old personal loan account. The account falls within the prescribed debt critera as set out in the national credit and consumer protection acts. I get greeted by a very friendly lady which put me through to the call centre on loans. They then put me throught to another person(Mongie) in legal and the this person tells me that i have reached the wrong department and give me this number ********** 501. I call this number and this number is not even in service. You are no help at all if i compare the service to the other major banks

I don't know if i am spelling her name correct but apologies if i am. Marilyn Peters thank you so much for your assistance in dealing with my matter. The manner in how you dealt with my complaint was refreshing given the nature. I know big business always expect the employees to operate within the values of the organisation, but in this case i think Nedbank need to take notice of how their employees do their task on a daily basis and build their values around staff(in the end you and your colleagues are the face of the company). So if i could rate your service i would give it 5 stars and if you are a reflect on your employer then i would give it the same value.
