Late debits order deductions and R200 cash back
Bad experience with nedbank personal accounts and their collections services. I had a gold cheque account in 2020 with nedbank, of which I was advised it was good for me until I closed it down after I have see how much money it has sucked out of me, while I was advised by a consultant in the midrand branch that it was the perfect one for me. Consultants lying to us, I don't know if they are trying to reach their daily targets with us or what. I was then advised earlier this year that I can open an account with a monthly fixed fee of R115 if I'm not mistaken, and that if I move my salary and my debit orders to the savvy account I will get cash back. Nedbank takes its time to collect some of my debit orders and my credit score is getting bad on the credit bureau and no one is doing anything about it yet they at the end of the day get their money. I am so disappointed at how they ruin my credit score while I have been discussing the issue with them for a while now. I was with capitec and my debit orders were going smooth without a problem. As for my cash back, it's been 2 months without getting it and now I'm paying for a policy with my money and I had it because my thoughts were that the cash back will pay for it. When I tried to do a follow-up with the cash back I am told of a 3 months requirement before getting it, and initially they said I need not to wait as long as all the requirements are met. And their late collections of my loan debit order is having a bad impact on the cash back since I'm also being told that everything should be done in one month so that I get my cash back, I mean how is that possible when we use some other things like the app after month end for other transactions? I at this stage want to cancel their account and policy and continue with capitec since I had a good credit score under them, and they gave me no hassle. I am so disappointed with nedbank I don't want to lie.
