Language preference change takes 3 months to implement

How can it take a big institution like Nedbank to implement a language change? I went to a branch in November to change my language preference from Afrikaans to English because I need it in English and they are unable to give me a once off statement in another language (pathetic in a country with 11 official languages) When the statement for Dec 2017 came, guess what? It is still in Afrikaans.... So I phoned and they confirmed my preference is English. They will follow up.... Ya right.... I phoned 3 more times before I was given a reference for my query ( ********** 5) I phoned AGAIN as no reaction from Nedbank - No answer for me, it will be escalated (This was on the 14th of Dec) No contact from Nedbank in all this time, so I phone again...... "No Mam, the home loan statements are created 3 months in advance, only the next one in February will be in English" Excuse me? So it takes a company, as big as Nedbank, 3 months to create a computer run to send my statements to me in an email? Pathetic system personnel. There is no way on this earth where a statement program needs 3 months to run. Not once in all the conversations I had with numerous people at Nedbank on numerous day I phoned did anybody mention the fact that it takes this long.

I am Not impressed with both the fact that you cannot accommodate multi languages but also that not once did anyone thought to let me know that I am wasting my time.
