Keep shifting the goal posts. Everyone with a different story.

I have been with Nedbank for many years and have been very happy and for the most part grateful with their services. They have helped me in many ways and honestly I've been very chuffed with them. This is now why with a heavy heart I have to write this review in order to voice my frustration. I was retrenched in April this year which then put me into a position of having to activate my insurance on my cards which went rather smoothly as it was activated within a week or 2. I then went on to getting another job which I started in June fortunately which put me back into the financial world of the living. This being said and for being at my job for 3 months and getting back on my feet, I figured I can now re-activate my cards to help cover other debts and costs to help out again. I called on Friday the 8th September and spoke to a lady who assisted me and told me if I send my letter of employment and my statements through they can go ahead with the re-instatement in 48hrs, so I said to her so that will be active for Monday and the answer she gave me was Yes. I went into the weekend with a smile on my face thinking this will be such a big help and I can sort out some things on Monday. I then called in on Monday to find out what the status was, which led to we have your documents and will be able to let you know by tomorrow (12th of Sep). Still without word I called the bank again on Tuesday which then led a conversation of Mr Brown we haven't received your documents which had me asking the person how don't they have it when the lady the previous day said it was there and in action. I then sent it to them again on the email ********** and requested a mail back upon the receipt of that mail, which I then received, nothing. I then proceeded to call yet again and then spoke to a lady which said to me if they got the documents it takes 48 - 72 hours in the work week to process, so which she then advised me to check again on Thursday 14 Sept. I heard nothing again so called in again to find out if there was any more word on my request. I got transferred to 3 different people which didn't quite know what was going on when the fourth just happened to drop the call altogether. After using about R150 on the Call centre alone I was fed up and went to my local branch at Randridge which then led to a consultant helping me. She proceeded to sit for about an hour trying to get a response on what I needed help with which led to they received my documents and they will now run checks and confirm my documents as well as run a credit check again. Now yet another step which was failed to be mentioned to me. So in short got told 48hrs (active Monday) to check tomorrow (Tuesday) to your documents weren't received (sent docs again on Tuesday) to it takes 48-72 work day hours so check on Thursday, now to received documents wait another 7 working days (possibly active on Tuesday 26th or not at all). So understand my frustration, I've spoken to so many different people each with a different story of the system. I had Credit Cards, and I asked for help to claim, I want to re-instate what I have and use what I have still been debited for. I have used so much money trying to talk to people in these departments and I have been messed around too much now.
