Is this how you treat your customers?

I attempted today, after having my cell[phone ******, to have my profile number and pin reset in order to access the status of my credit card online.
Since my cellphone banking has never been activated I have never been able to use my credit card to perform any transactions online, besides checking the status thereof.

My credit card has been overdue the past few months but I've recently squared up quite a large amount to get it current.

I called the contact centre today to get my above details and was told that since there is a status on my account I cannot get the temp pin without going in to a branch.
How is this possible? I simply need to check the status of my account to avoid what has been happening and being refused a pin that I would have had if my phone had not been ****** is beyond me.

I pay a monthly fee to be able to access my credit card online and the agent could barely even offer an apology?

Unacceptable nedbank! If this is the case I will square up my credit and take my business elsewhere.
Future banking? Ya right. More like let's see how we can inconvenience our customers with 1980 ruling.
