Insurance .... worth it?

I was retrenched last year in February... I put an application in for my credit card to be paid... I got the run around all year ...phone calls made to me and promises only never to hear another word. Email people who then leave and have to email someone else then someone else ...then a manager who will let someone else know... I have about 30 something emails to about 5 different people.... I now have had to come to an arrangement to pay it off BUT of course in this time gone by the interest and instalments shot up and now I owe about R5000 extra!! I havent been able to get work due to covid and being a teacher. This has been the worst experience ever.
