Insurance claim decline
We bought a house over a month ago and a week ago our lounge tiles lifted due to structural damage, I claimed through the insurance and it was found that the claim was not approved:
our house was build 7 years ago and the tiles lifted not due to normal wear and tear but due to a builders defect tiles that was installed with poor worksmanship and default material used.
when the evaluate came to assess the house this person should have made a note and it has a hollow sound, yet once again the pathetic service i received from them.
How would you recommend this is through normal wear and tear if we are only living there for the past month, this is pathetic i must say as you approved this loan to the house and you had it checked out it just shows that the bank doesn't know that they are evaluating neither do they know what they are doing.
i hope the next people insuring their house through nedbank will think x 2 cause they know how to fool you.
regards
