I went to open a 24hour notice account as I needed to use my funds for building, I was told there are two and then the tax free is what I was informed about. I was told the max I can transfer is R33000 but no mention of the fact that I will be taxed if I get interest. I wanted to deposit R40 000 initially but did R33 000. the lady could have mentioned the tax issue and I would have deposited less but now because the Fourways branch is under renovations, there's no one who's willing to listen nor help, whereas I wasn't fully informed of the advantages and disadvantages.
