Infringement of human rights at Nedbank Corkwood, Uitenhage.
I am not pleased with the service of Nedbank Corkwood, Uitehnage. On the the 20 May 2022, I was at Nedbank Uitenhage to sign documents related to our family business. I was told by the teller that works for business accounts me go to the help desk, and that is where I will be assisted with internet banking. The manager(white male), who was at the help desk, ignored me when I asked me to help with the self service for internet banking, and told me to go bank to the teller that assisted me. I did so, the teller then told me to go fetch the manager who was at the help desk. I felt tossed because I was sent back and fourth, and the white manager was not at the help desk when i went back to fetch him, A black lady, who was at the entrance( help desk) attacked me after i was told to wait for the same consultant t( a teller) to assist me. The black lady attacked me by telling to wait outside because the bank is full. She didn't even listen to me when i told her that I was told to wait inside. My mom intervened and spoke Xhosa with her. This was when she addressed my mom properly. I feel like i was attached because I am a Sangoma and I might have been perceived illiterate and irrelevant , hence the rude approach. I feel very discriminated because as a Sangoma( an educated one to be exact), we should be treated fairly in every institution of South Africa because we have human rights. The same thing happened at Shoprite Uitenhage in 2019. I plea for respect as a human being.
