Incorrect loan restructuring

At the beginning of the national lockdown I requested a 3 month relief on the loan payment, for which it was granted. Interest was still charged during the 3 months. I was advised that I will be contacted regarding rescheduling but to now no such call has been made. To my surprise my loan term has been extended by 6 months instead of 3. How come no communication was received by me regarding such restructuring.

Please advise how the extension got to 6 months instead of 3. This is an urgent matter as I believe that it has a bearing on the interest and repayment term.
