Incorrect banking details after bond transfer as well as personal information sent to incorrect recipients.

I recently went through a divorce and I had to transfer my ex-wife's share of the home loan to my name as well as change the bank account from which the debit order was going off of (it was initially going off on my ex-wife's account and it needed to be changed to mine).

Everything with regards to the registering of the bond and the transfer of the house to my name went smoothly and then unfortunately I was let down when on 01 December 2019, the debit order went off on my ex-wife's bank account. Obviously, this was met with a tad bit of irritation from her side as she was not expecting this especially since the bond was registered mid-November 2019 and clearly the administrative side should have been resolved and my bank account (the correct account) should have been debited. Thankfully, I was able to resolve the matter and transferred her the funds which left her account.

It was then that I contacted the attorneys who registered the bond as I thought they may have slipped up with regards to submitting the paperwork which changes the account for the debit order. They, however, were able to swiftly respond with a copy of the paperwork submitted to Nedbank detailing my bank account details. I also clearly remember signing a document instructing them to no longer debit my ex-wife's account but instead follow this new instruction of debiting my account.

It was then that I contacted Nedbank Home Loans directly on 04 December 2019 - Reference number ***8 . I was advised that their specialists were busy and that I would be contacted in order to rectify this matter and ensure that going forward I would not have this issue and that all the information would be correct. to this day, I have not heard back from anyone at Nedbank regarding the matter.

Today (16 December 2019), I received an email from my ex-wife where they have now sent her the statement for the home loan to her email address. It is now clear that this matter is a serious issue and that somewhere the paperwork has not been correctly filed or something else is clearly wrong with my profile for this home loan.

I have a few concerns that I would like resolved as soon as possible: 1) I would like all the debit orders relating to my home loan to go off the correct account (my bank account) going forward - this means from 01 January 2020 2) I would like all communications regarding my home loan to only be sent to me, and not my ex-wife. This is a serious breach of my confidentiality and privacy and I want this matter resolved as soon as possible. 3) I would like written confirmation that the above has been attended to and it must describe the bank details of the account which all future debit orders are to come from as well as the email and postal address of all future communications (which should only be my details as none of this information is any of my ex-wife's business).

I would appreciate a swift response from Nedabank regarding this unacceptable matter.

I have been contacted and I do believe that the matter has been sorted out. I will just need to wait until the next debit order date in order to ensure that everything is sorted out correctly.
