*********** service

Ideally, I love banking with Nedbank, but I feel like some of your consultants either they do not know what they are doing, or are not properly trained. They even make you feel very uncomfortable with the information provided to you. I phoned last week on Thursday, requesting for my paid up letter, the consultant explained that I would receive it by Monday, Monday came and went without a paid up letter. When I phone today to inquire, I am told by the consultant that the request was never actioned, and further that I should physically request for the closure of my Personal Loan Account. A lot of things related to the account don't make sense, I believe that if I pay the full settlement amount on my Personal Loan account it would obviosuly be closed as there is no funds on the account for me to use. Further to this, I was charged interest of R130.70 even though the balance on the account is at a negative, when I inquired from the consultant she says it is because I didn't request for closure of the account. But wait, you should charge me interest if the balance on the account is positive, for what money are you charging interest if the account balance is negative? Make me understand that part. When I paid my final payment, I paid the settlement amount, I inquired from the consultant why it is still on a negative because I assume that if I pay the settlement amount it means that I have paid for all additional interest which would have been aplicable, but nope she says that she will log a refund for the amount, why would she then log a refund if I paid the full settlement amount? Can somebody make me understand please? The ref number for the paid up letter ********** 7 and reference number for the refund ********** 3.
