*********** lying fools employed by Nedbank

This is another review as a follow up on a previous one with ref no:***5. Nedbank's employees has no clue on how to handle my situation, one employee's promises and statements differ completely from the next. Here is my story. On the 10th of June I called to cancel my Nedbank home owners insurance. I was told to send through proof of insurance, which I did on the same day. Spoke to homeloan accounts who informed me that my new installment would be R8207. On the 26th of July, the debit order went off for R8745.54 (bond + insurance). I called in and the employee told me that they would reverse the money to my bond and I should call homeloans after a couple of days to request a refund. Called a couple of days later only to be told that there will be no refund since I am paying my insurance in arrears... I accepted it and let it go. On the 30th of June I receive a letter to inform me that my insurance with Nedbank was cancelled. On the 10th of July I receive a letter from the Nedbank insurance informing me that there was a R251 refund into my bond account. I called to ask for this to be refunded to my Capitec account, but was informed that this was not possible. 26th July and again Nedbank debited my account for the Bond installment including the insurance installement... Me being fed up with trying to speak to someone who actually knows what they were talking about so I decided to log a hello peter complaint...(https://www.hellopeter.com/nedbank/reviews/nedbank-homeloans-unauthorised-debit-order-***) Case was handed to a certain Mr. Nicolas Govender... On the 28th of July I receive a letter from Nedbank homeloans to indicate that my new instalment after the interest rate decrease would be R8066. On the 31st of July Mr. Govender emails me to tell me that my installment has been adjusted accordingly following my complaint. I responded that the installment was adjusted a long time ago already and I need the money that was wrongfully debited from my account to be refunded to me. Mr Govender responds, telling me that the installement was only adjusted the day before (despite the letter I received from Nedbank) and that I can transfer the money from the money app since it is available on my transfer scope on my bond account. I reply to inform him that I do not have access to the money app and he doesn't bother to respond... I decide to take a days leave and sort this out a a branch... After a big process I am told by the lady at the branch that there is no money available in the transfer scope (despite Mr Govender stating that it should be). She can see the R251(for the July debit) that was paid back into my bond account, but state that it is not available due to my bond being in arrears (I have never missed a payment). I asked her when I missed a payment for my account to be in arrears and she could not answer me. When I asked why they again took the R8745 which includes the bond and the now cancelled insurance, she could not answer me. So Nedbank has for 2 months debited my account with an unauthorised amount and refuses to refund me. Somehow my homeloan account is in arrears despite me making every single payment since the very first one. So Nedbank is making mistake after mistake and I have to lose money every time and no one is able to rectify it... I hereby promise to refinance this house with another financial institution in the next couple of months. I will also settle my vehicle finance account with MFC and I promise to NEVER do any business with Nedbank EVER again. Bunch of *********** fools... Oh, just one last thing, should you debit my account with the incorrect amount come the 26th of August, I will just reverse the debit order and only pay into the account the correct amount minus the R789 which you owe me now.
