Impossible to close nedbank account and affecting credit score

Impossible to close my dormant account and this is affecting my credit score. Last year I requested that my account be closed and I was under the impression it was done. 2 months ago I received notification that my account is in arrears due to bank fees, I made a deposit and it reflected a positive balance and then requested that the account be closed. Numerous call centre calls later and the account is still not closed.

Nedbank should get their processes in order as their processes might affect my credit score.

I just want my nedbank account closed please, it should not be so difficult.
