Ignored about a settlement discount

I am very disappointed with Nedbank. I am under debt review and wanted to settle my personal loan from Nedbank. Firstly I struggled to get Nedbank to send me a settlement letter. I was referred to 3 departments from Debt Review to collections and after 5 telephone calls I atlast got some assistance. I however pleaded for a settlement discount as I was settling the total outstanding balance. My plea was just ignored and it seems like Nedbank was not over joyed for me to settle the account. I have received settlement discounts from other banks (I will not mention the names) but it seems like Nedbank is not willing to meet me half way or to assist me in getting the loan settled.
