If you are with Nedbank Insurance, change now before you have to claim

We have our house structure insured through Nedbank and our contents through Outsurance. We had a fire in our garage and contacted Nedbank on 30 Sep about the claim. We were sent forms to submit with quotes which we duly did, and we have followed up twice in writing since. We have heard nothing in return.

When we phoned them today to find out what is going on, it seems that they have initaited a parallel process to what they told us to do and have made a ridiculous offer that will barely cover the callout fee of a qualified electrician, much less address the repairs that need doing. In fact, they didn't even address part of the damage that needed fixing!

We have been paying this inept bunch for about 2 decades but that will be ending next week.
