My brother changed banks, fast forward to Friday the 26 December 2025 after 3 months. I went to Moruleng Mall Nedbank and app**** with a lady called Olebogeng, she told me the application will be done only on Monday since it’s the weekend, I had no problem. I want to check on the 6th January 2026 as I had to pay R16890 for registration, she gave my case to another consultant shap, but still no reply on their end.
On the 8th January I called the Student loan department, to my surprise there was no application under my name, I called Moruleng mall consultants to ask what’s going on, they kept saying she’s busy she’ll get back to me. I went there physically the following day & they showed me they sent my application but I could see they only did it the previous day when I called. Now it’s time to move to a different city to start school, meaning there are expenses rent, food and and. I called around the 12th the lady suggested I send her my documents, I did & I never heard from her again , the 20th I got a call from a gentleman called Sibusiso who was now only doing my application. I’ve never heard from him again. I recently logged a complain, I was told I’ll get a call within 24hours, it’s been a week,
Everytime I called I’m told their busy they’ll call back which never happens. I’m livid, I’m angry, it’s financially straining, I go to bed with an empty stomach. I’ve sent emails, there’s nothing I haven’t done, I’m even thinking of going to Standard bank but I don’t even know if they’ve done credit check cause if they did moving to another bank will be a fill
