I want my refund

We bought a property with financial assistance by Nedbank home loans in 2016/2017. Moved in to the house in March 2017. My husband passed away in September 2017.

Shock no. 1: When I went to the branch I was told there was no insurance in place to cover the bond. I was told I will have to continue paying the bond

In December 2017, I got the Execilutor Letter everything was frozen so I started payments. I requested for arrears amount and I paid full arrears and since January 2018 I have been paying the installments without ceasing.

Shock no. 2: Nedbank saw it fit to send me summons because they wanted to deduct money from my payslip and whereas when I did refinancing I did not qualify but continued paying the installment irregardless of not qualifying.

They sent me summons after summons and I would ask them what they want after me as I am up to date with the home loan. They would tell me about arrears which they failed to date to explain how those arrears accumulated.

When they sent me those summons they would write to me as an Executor for the Estate Late PM Marotya

I felt that Nedbank does not care about those who lost their loved ones. As I did not believe that there was no cover from the 1st place but anyway I was told lots of stories about Nedbank from people who lost their loved ones.

I cleared my Financials and I went to Home Loans to request financing that would help me get rid of Nedbank and that was a smooth process and Nedbank was paid in full.

Shock no.3: After all has been done, Nedbank is now questioning my Executorship, claiming that there's someone else registered at the Masters.

All I need from Nedbank is my refund. They sent me refund pack which I returned the documents as per their list.

Now I am not the Executor.. My question is who was the registered Executor when they were sending me summons?

How did I do the process of selling and purchasing the property successfully with financing if I am not the Executor.

When I thought I got rid of Nedbank they are now questioning my Executorship instead of paying me my hard earned money.

I am very heartbroken, hurt and angry with the treatment I have been receiving from Nedbank since the death of my husband. I have never seen such heartless people who just want to see you fall when you are already down
