I need justice, if they have explain to me in sense dense manner I'm sure I could have tried my level best and it was towards month end. Why mfc is treating their clients like dirt? Covid 19 has spoiled all means of survival and hence you ill treat us. I
My name is Buhle Nxumalo identity # *** 081 with MFC Nedbank reference number ***. I am self employed transporting kids to school. Towards the end of November 2019, Gert white man, as called, with two black gents come home to collect my vehicle. They parked infront of the gate and gert shouted that " tell your children to get out of my property I'm taking it now, you're always hiding from us, give her to sign and let's go ". I was shocked and panicking even shaking, I walked towards the two black gents and gert was standing with one of my neighbors bad mouthed me( my neighbor told me after the scene) on the other side of the road, still shaking and confused, I asked them what's happening? One of guy said we're here to collect the car didn't you received any notification, I said no and he said they should have because I'm owing about R18 000 upwards, i asked how ? He said they haven't received any payment, still shocked and in tears also stressed about the kids at school I was suppose to pick up. The guy said sign here, what for I questioned him, he replies that we are taking the car from you and you've 20 working days if you still need it to pay. I asked how much but no exact answer only assumption of R18 000 upwards, I asked for my copies of what I was signing, the guy said I'll received them via post because they were supposed to be here with me and they took the car, I followed them with the question, where you taking the car too, the black guy responded try to call mfc next Monday or Tuesday and they will tell you what and how to go about, stressed like that kids stranded out of the school gate with no transportation, I've to ask for help to get them home and also seek for a loan to transport them until school closes. Next week I called mfc and they said the car case is in Durban, they gave me the contact of an Indian guy can't recall his name and he told me that he hasn't received any I call again, I did during the week he said it's in Johannesburg I need to contact mfc. Being stressed I called mfc and they gave me contact for Bafana Ntshangase, I asked him how much was I owing for them to pick up the car, he said he'll calculate and forward me on my email. I waited until I received the email, guess what, they took the car for R6 405.93 and what suprises is the total of R15 295.27 of which I was liable after. I called him, Bafana and asked why are they adding all those fees? He said it's their procedure and failing to pay they will sell the car and if any outstanding amount I will be liable, I couldn't believe till today. I'm sure they would have waited until month end, not paying wasn't my choice it was due to covid 19 and everyone was aware of that and I called earlier to explain the situation and after the phases of lockdown no business was functioning at it's best but mfc demanded payment and the car, school will opening and I will be jobless, if it happens how am I going to survive or even pay any payments? I'm so dissatisfied with thier services I need back the car and make new arrangements, the car was my food my life my everything. I'm jobless and homeless without it, my children are in hunger.
