how to lose a customer

My Amex card was used for ********** activity and picked up and stopped by Amex - well done to Amex.
The replacement card was sent, at my request, to the closest Nedbank branch in Claremont. I could and should have got it sent to my private banker but I wanted to save her the hassle of getting it to me.
So all that was needed was to go to the branch, present my ID, encrypt the card and leave.
I arrived at the branch, I took a number at 09h52 and sat down. I saw that my number was not on the electronic board but no matter. 25 minutes later 6 people who were there before me got served plus 6 who came in after me.
i asked the receptionist what was happening and she told me that the other customers needed teller service and I needed enquiry service and they were very busy.
I told her that the service was poor and called my banker. She called the branch and she was told that Nedbank tellers are multi service points and that my number had been called moments after I left---yeah right!
Nedbank need to understand there are other banks and I will be moving to one of them. Such a simple matter so badly handled, not that Nedbank care...Peter
