How safe is Nedbank and its affiliations: ie Nedbank Funeral

I am concerned that details get changed without ones knowledge and when you call in and ask ….nobody knows and cannot assure one that it wont happen again. I called in on the 15th November 2015 to increase the funeral benefit from R50 000 to R75 000 and to change my physical address, as I had relocated. The consultant informed that she could only assist with the increase of the benefits and for the change of address I had to send in an email. I sent the email in on15 November 2018 just after 9am. I received an automated response to the effect that it would take a couple of days. Today, 29 November 2018 @ around 2pm I decided to call in and follow up as I had had no correspondence from Nedbank as to either my change of benefits and new premium or change of address. This is where disaster struck as when the consultant asked me the questions to verify myself she had a different email address as well as a different mobile number. I obv. complained and explained the situation. The consultant then immediately forwarded my new policy to my correct email address. Only to find that, that too had changed. Suddenly I was unmarried and the physical address on it was not even my old address from Cape Town but some other suite address from Gauteng. I asked to speak to a senior consultant who did not do a good job in convincing me that nothing else had been changed also not my personal banking details, as I am a Nedbank client. How safe is Nedbank then if details can be changed without ones knowledge. What would have happened should I not have stumbled across this, and even worse what if I or my spouse needed to make a claim and the details we have is incorrect( due to sum sinister reason) ...… a possible repudiation???? How safe are you Nedbank and your affiliations such as this funeral policy. Not happy at all...………...
