How long does it take for a card to be issued?

Went to collect my new debit card which has been delivered.The queuing system has changed in this branch that you have to now get a ticket with a no. generated for the purpose that you are there, wait until your no. is called and then you get helped. I waited for 15min whilst the tellers were moving nothing else was happening. Went to the front consultant where ticket was issued to enquire and was told very abruptly that I was only waiting for 16min whilst the ticket no. before mine was waiting for 29mins already. Is this the type of attitude/service one should be getting? Before the queuing system was changed it took not more than 5mins to be helped at the enquiry counter which is now non existent in this branch. Wonder how long would it have taken for my no. to be called and then further waiting for the card to be found and not forgetting the paperwork that goes with it! <br> I do not have the whole day to wait in a bank for a card to be issued, I too need to work!. If I had known that this would happen, I would have asked for delivery to another branch with less hassles. I also can't afford the R150 for direct delivery to me. Advise how can I collect my card without issues pls.<br>
