House Insurance are Useless when you need them they are not there for you!!!!!!!!!

Good Morning,

I am a client of Nedbank insurance and have a bank Account for many many years with Nedbank, and my Bond is also with Nedbank. and I am Insured for my Building with Nedbank, but I really do not now why do one have to have Insurance if it is Declined he whole time, that is the Main Reason for me having Insurance seeing something goes wrong.

Why do one have Insurance ?????????????????????

On Wednesday, 10 September 2025 my Gate Motor which is a Gemini Gate Motor started giving problems and I reported it to Nedbank Insurance on Thursday, 11 September 2025.

On Friday, 12 Sepember 2025 Nedbank Assessor came out to look at the Gemini Gate Motor. They opened it and did not test it and opened the gate a few times to see it gets stuck in the middle of opening.

Report to back Nedbank Insurance that the Motor needs to be replaced by a Centurion Motor seeing the Gemini Parts are Discontinued. The Assessors also said hat the PC Board is Faulty and need another, but when I went to test it yesterday the Report stated the the PC Board is fine and in Good Working order ???????????????

I went to Gemini to get a quote on repairs of the Gemini Gate Motor and send a Quotation through to Nedbank insurance to show them the Gears (Gearbox) needs to be replaced of the Gate Motor and the PC Board is still in good Working Order.

Insurance Companies are not there to really help he client that is he sad thing.

Your take out Insurance to cover you but when you need them they conveniently just decline claims.

We are living in a High Crime Area and they just do not care.

This is my experience with Nedbank Insurance.
