Hon fee/ Vat on FEE

I am getting charged Honoring Fee of R90 each. I called the bank to find out what’s it regarding. They suggest it’s if you don’t have funds in the account and you got a debit order that needs to go through they will honor it at a fee.

I then asked them about my account. Why was I charged honoring fee 3 times on my account as I don’t have any debit orders and the transactions I get charged honoring fee for is EFT. I did 3 EFTs on 22 May 2017 while having more then enough funds in the account. How is it that they still charged me this.

Call Centre suggested it could’ve been a mistake and I should go to the branch to get a refund.

No2. I get charged VAT ON FEE every second Day on my credit card. What a pathetic bank.

I got no time to go waste at the branch. If you don’t check statements they ***** from you.

Luckily I never closed my Fnb account. Guess it’s time to say fnb is officially the best.
