Homeloans giving absurd and illogical reasoning for declines - and then can't be bothered to explain it!

I've now app**** with Nedbank Homeloans on 3 occasions - each time being unsuccessful or should I rather state it as incomplete as on the one occasion they simply failed to process the application - even after I asked on more than one occasion that they must please escalate the matter urgently they sinply left the application hanging without providing any outcome at all - and even after I then asked them after already having taken out that specific bond with another bank that they must please get back to me so that I can at least know what they expect from a potential applicant in the future, they still failed to get back to me! Noting that we did manage to get good quotes from both FNB as well as Standard Bank on all of these respective properties, I did approach Nedbank before our last application to ask what exactly they would require from us and if their policy would allow for them to provide a homeloan to applicants with a minimal business-relationship/history with Nedbank since besides a Nedbank Trading account all of our other accounts are held with other banks since we've simply received better service from them in the past. Their answer to this was that will definitely still be able to consider providing us with a homeloan and that it "all depended on the application process". I also mentioned our already dissapointing as well as extremely frustrating past experiences with Nedbank Homeloans after which they agreed that that was "unacceptable and definitely not their standard) and that this time round they would make sure that everything thus goes smoothly.

This "process" which started on the exact same day as all of our applications with all of the other banks turned out to take a nr of weeks longer than in the cases of FNB, Standard Bank as well as SA Homeloans (to the extent that we had to ask the other banks for extentions on their approvals) only to be dissipointed (yet again) by Nedbank when we received a "decline" from them with truly absurd and illogical reasoning. In terms of the specific property that we wanted to buy it didn't bother us as we received perfectly good quotes from both FNB and Standard Bank (as we did in the past as well), but I then asked Nedbank, by providing them with a very thorough and logical response to their reasoning for the decline (this was sent to them on 31 May 2017 already - more than 2 months ago!), that they must please give me their thoughts on that so that, as requested in the past as well, we can at least then understand their "system" slightly better in case we want to apply with them again in the future (so that we don't end up wasting either our own as well as their time again in the future). The consultant at my local branch (Stellenbosch), Mr Jakes Simirie, whom I went to see in person in this regard a nr of times (the last time being around mid June - a few days after I requested that he must please send me certain details that I needed in order to log a formal service-delivery complaint with the ombudsman which he also didn't bother to respond on), then promised (yet again) that he would discuss this matter with his manager since he "understood my frustration and fully understood where it came from as he also agreed that the reasoning for the decline didn't make any sense"... it's now been another SIX WEEKS and yet again Mr Simirie or any other Nedbank representative has failed to get back to me... The only positive that I can take from this is that I'm so glad that I don't do more business via Nedbank...
