Homeloan not able to work on Leasehold

I was owning a flat in Cape Town and was financed by Nedbank and chances are it was a Leasehold not Freehold.<br> <br> I sold a flat and now tried to apply for a town house in Jukskei view in Midrand. Due to the fact that all houses in Jukskei are <br> leasehold, the estate agent advised Nedbank consultant that all the major banks including Nedbank doesnt finance Leasehold but only SA homeloan<br> does offer on leasehold property.Nedbank then<br> Consultant mentioned to me(on the same day) that she will not proceed with my application because Nedbank doesnt allow.<br> I am pretty sure Nedbank Consultant too Estate Agent words without confirming which is my biggest worry.<br> My work colleague is staying in Jukskei and financed by Standard Bank which is a contradict to what Estate Agent mentioned about all major bank doesnt work with Leasehold properties.<br> SA homeloan approved me with 90% but I would like to compare with other banks.
