Home Loan Payment Gap Applicaiton Rejected by Nedbank.

I submitted for Nedbank Home loan payment gap application and payment re-arrangement on the 15th of March 2020. Its been more than a month and they are sending me from pillar to post. When i submitted my application for payment gap, my home loan payments were up to date. Now they say that i must continue to pay my home loan. How do Nedbank expect me to continue to pay my home loan considering i am a self employed person and we are locked up in our houses. Around the world the banks have given a payment holiday between 3 months to 6 months without begging or asking for it during these tough times. It only happens here in South Africa where Banks are more concerned about themselves than the welfare of the people. Its simply shocking. If i knew Nedbank do not look for the interest of people, i would have never taken home loan from them. I should have gone to the other banks as they seem to be more helpful than Nedbank.
