I recently needed to go back a few months to check some transactions. I opened 3 statements which opened once then it stated something went wrong which was fine as I managed to get what I needed. But the next day I checked my account and I had an R11 debit for each statement I viewed! In total I opened 3 statements for 2024. This is crazy, banks like FNB offer 12 month statements for free.
