Highly Disappointed

I have been with Nedbank for almost 9 years, I have investments, credit card, home loan and car loan with them. However Law and behold on the 26th November 2024 they deducted R21 000 from my account cause I owed my credit card, out of their own accord, no letter , calls or any form of correspondence to alert me of this. I just saw an sms that R21000 was paid out of my account. R21 000 is the amount I owed towards my credit card. When I made endless calls to investigate what was going. Few minutes after speaking to a consultant I got an email, stating that because I owe on my credit card they will be deducting R1045.21 on the 27th but instead of R1045.21 they took R21 000. After many calls, I was told they would refund me but no refund till today the 4th Of December 2024, I have also being in contact with their lawyers who sent emails informing Nedbank of the payment arrangement I made with them and that they should refund my money but nothing at all is still being done. I have no electricity at home cause clearly when you owe Nedbank one shouldn't have a life. I'm leaving Nedbank after this experience. I would not encourage anyone to bank with them. Their approach and respect towards their customers is obnoxious. The fact that they did not even communicate then worse refuse to refund paints a disturbing picture of their ethics. This is December how does one even live when all their salary is taken at such a manner. This is so grievous and I do not think banking with them is a good choice. Banks are to respect their customers. I would rates them way under the negative, Nedbank is not worth it.
