Have to send fax for info. you already have

Very disappointed at the level of customer service I am receiving from Nedbank, especially personal loans. . On 21 July the consultant I spoke to was extremely rude and confrontational, and insisted that my debit order date was 25th. Today when I spoke to another person they told me it was 24th. I had never asked for my debit order date to be 24th.

My account was in arrears. I paid the arrears in full, and my account was up to date. This morning, 24th, my account was debited twice, even though my account is up to date. I expected the debit order to go off on the 25th!!! I spoke to Zanele, to reverse one of the debits. She told me I must send a proof of payment of the arrears, by fax!

I don't understand why I need to send a fax on the proof of arrears paid, as Nedbank had already processed the arrears and the account is up to date! Even more so, in this day and age I am expected to find a fax machine and send a manual paper fax. I am sure that Nedbank uses Unified messaging, where their faxes get delivered to a Email Inbox.

Why can't I just send an email? I expect a reversal of the one of the debits immediately?
