Frustrated

I, visited Nedbank (Churchsquare branch) to request for an emergency withdrawal from my 32 day account of R1000.00. The lady that assisted me told me that it would take only 24hours till the requested amount is deposited in my account. I then went home satisfied, 24 hours later no funds were deposited into my account. I was not alarmed as I had previously withdrawn and the money was deposited 48 hours later. Yesterday (29 Apr 2021) marked seven days since I made the withdrawal request. I then contacted Nedbank twitter account to enquire about the withdrawal request. They asked for me to accept the pop notification so that the inquiry may be secured. I did that and they (twitter account) informed me that the withdrawal was deposited into a current account. Now according to my understanding, my Nedbank current account is inactive since 2016/2017 If I remember correctly therefore how does Nedbank deposit funds into an inactive account? Secondly the amount was rather decreased from R1000 to R690. I thought the R310 would be deducted from the remaining amount and not the requested amount. Had I known that it will be deducted in the requested amount, I would have then requested R1310. I am really disappointed on how the teller went about with the transaction. I am actually frustrated as I couldn't meet my financial obligation last week when I made the withdrawal request since the funds are not in my 'capitec account' which is my primary bank. I am even considering using a different financial institute as a result of this. How am I going to get the R1000 that I requested?
