Frozen Account

As a single parent, my child's father's sister attempted to assist me, financially by putting money into my account following the death of my child's father. She did this in Dubai during the second week in April. My salary was deposited into my account around 6/04/2017. Much to my dismay the bank has frozen my account, including my salary for some 2 weeks now, which has had severe impact on my ability to pay my rent or pay for food. I can understand that such funds would take time to clear into my account however, i cannot understand how the bank could freeze other funds in my account. This has had detrimental affect on my ability to live and the bank has not been helpful in this regard and continues to have frozen my account. The bank continues to tell me that I must wait whilst they undertake investigations into money laundering., which at this stage has already taken a week, all the while denying me access to my basic salary.
