********** Stop Order on Personal Account
In 2014 I noted a stop order deduction amounting to R495.00 on my Nedbank account. I contacted the bank and was told that is a stop order for a Telkom service and is paid into an ABSA account. I contacted Telkom and they confirmed no knowledge of the reference number and that I was not their client. Nedbank advised me that they cannot cancel the stop order as I need to do this through the supplier. Telkom cannot cancel this as it is not theirs. I find myself caught between all these companies. The only thing I could do was to authorize Nedbank to put a 3 months stop on the stop order by paying R40.00. I have to pay this amount after every 3 months. I have already renewed the instruction twice. My question is where does it stop. I want Nedbank with whoever to cancel the deduction and reimburse me all the costs incurred to put a temporary stop on the deduction.
