I had a professional banking account with Nedbank for years. I was not happy with the service I got from Nedbank. I then decided to cancel the professional banking and downgrade my account to a pay as you use account which I was told had no monthly fees. You only pay as you use. I haven't been using this account but I left it with money. I was shocked on the 14th of April to find out that my account was debited with a professional banking monthly fee and it's been since the 1st of February that I downgraded my account. I called to enquire why my account was debited and I was told to go into the branch to enquire further. They said they don't know why my account was debited when I called. I can't believe they can't sort this without having to go into a branch. Imagine me having to risk my life in this pandemic and going to the branch to enquire about transactions on my account.
