FNB ***** Investigations: 1 Month / No Phone Calls / No refund of funds disputed / APPALLNG
Nedbank ***** Investigations Department: Deem it acceptable to not contact a business banking client once since having logged a case... nearly one month ago. Deem it acceptable that a client states that he intends on pressing ******** charges against a KNOWN individual for having utilised his card online - following the SAME individual having blocked a Nedbank Amex by entering the incorrect pin just days before the transactions were logged on my business account. Deem it acceptable that a client reports ***** - as I am required to do - but yet they need not call the client back the following day to answer a simple question: how were the transactions authorised. Deem it acceptable that CLIENT then investigates and obtains written statement from individual stating that he did make use of my card without my permission - the exact same transactions in dispute.
Nedbank, if you believe that three and a half weeks of a client having to call your ***** investigations department day after day, threatening to move banks, and just about everything else I can threaten in order for you to follow through on your obligations and a fair, thorough investigation - is what I pay R360pm for that account for. Then kindly respond to me (yes, that may require your ***** investigations department and NOT the branch who are not at fault here - actually pick up the telephone and call me (you do appear to have my number on file.)
I have requested a total of 7 call backs, called 5 nights in a row, have been assured that it will be closed within 24 hours with all monies refunded. And, to my surprise, I was absolutely taken aback today, because Nedbank actually.... had still done nothing.
I require this case finalised and closed and a statement accounting for the reasons it took so long to close - a timeline as to what transpired - and why it was that I was not kept informed during the process. Kindly reverse the charges which I highlighted in detail when I reported the *****. And then please, if you can spare the time, explain to me how it is that I log a ***** case, and then get off the telehone and find that I still have to block my card manually, as it was not done by your ***** department.
I have said this for over a week now, and I will absolutely stand by it. If you do not get your fraid investigator assigned to this case to contact me tomorrow to finalise this claim I will move my entire portfolio away from Nedbank with immediate effect.
Three weeks to investigate a ***** case in which I already have a ******** action matter pending, awaiting the outcome granted by Nedbank. Your ***** investigations department is - to be quite honest - in shambles from what I can make of the communication - or lack thereof - within it.
Please ensure this is resolved, a report submitted, and the monies returned to me. Thank you.
