Flood damage claim still not approved 18mths later

Lodged a claim for flood damage to my home in January 2014. Assessor Ron Pe**** was efficient in coming out and capturing photo's of damage but never came back with quotes as promised. A year later I submitted my quotes. It's been months and the quotes have not yet been approved. My contractors say they cannot keep the quoted prices this long. Several calls to call centre, e-mails to Ron and Homeowners Insurance, complaint lodged on website on 9 July and Sanette Marx responded that they would investigate and revert. Still no response. My guest bedroom has been locked and unusable since January 2014. Carpets were ripped out. House is a mess. Shocking. No sense of urgency. No follow up. No stewardship or accountability.
