FICA FOR REAL

The banks are legally bound by the FICA law. In the case where a client is non compliant with the FICA rules of the bank then the bank will freeze, block, withhold or suspend a client banking account or accounts.

What action can a client or customer take against the bank should the bank fail to FICA the client once the client has endeavoured to FICA , or has been instructed to update, or details have changed.

Does the consumer act protect the client from negligance by the bank in this matter?
