Faulty Blacklisted

Years ago I received a call from Blakes Maphanga Inc stating that they are collecting on behalf of Nedbank for a credit card, I told the lady that I don’t have a Nedbank credit card, that was it and I never heard from them…. Now on the 7 of September 2019 I went to draw my credit report, when I was going through the report I saw that the is a judgement on my profile for a nedbank credit card that was opened in 2017 Jan 31st, I got shocked and confused, I remembered being phoned for a nedbank credit and it was just not two years back, I couldn’t remember when I was phoned but I knew it was many years ago

The profile stated that I should contact Blakes Maphanga Inc on *** regards to this credit. I phoned Blakes Maphanda Inc and I was transferred to Wendy Buthelezi\ Wendy Chimufombo, I explained to Wendy the whole story and about the call I received back then. Wendy then said they have a call report that I was phoned in 2014.. I agreed with her and I told that I did state to the lady that I don’t have such credit card from Nedbank.

I had a question to her that how can I be phoned for this very same credit card in 2014 when the report states that it was opened in 2017 Jan, what is the open date exactly of this credit card???

She said they don’t have such information…… I’ll be sent documents regards to the claim, they will request them from nedbank. I was told to send copy of ID with at least 3 signatures and an Affidavit stating the matter, I did exactly that.

I thought to myself that they are lawyers who are collecting accounts that they don’t even know when they were opened clearly with the answer I received for the question I asked. They don’t have full details but they are just collect.

I followed up on the matter the following week I was told that they are awaiting on Nedbank . I received a copy of preagreement statement and quotation for credit agreements – personal card facility with Nedbank ‘s letter head, on that copy

1. the signature looked nothing like mine… 2. This deal or this credit card was opened on the 28 Feb 2012.

I informed Wendy about the above, and all this time we are liaising via email as refused to give her my contact number for the matter, I was scared to give her my further details, I requested that we communicate via my email.

I told her on the copy you sent the open date is 2012 but on the report its 2017 ,how is that possible? What exactly is going on? I never received an answer to that simple question.

I further told her again that I don’t have Nedbank credit card I never took one, she said she will speak with Nedbank and she will get back to me.

I followed up on that as well as I was not receiving any feedback and for the documents she requested I had to follow up to hear if she did receive them or not. Because this is my profile I took responsibility with no choice to follow up every now and then.

She forwarded me an email from Mary Isaac from Nedbank, Mary Isaac did not mention nor answer the questions I asked Wendy Buthelezi about the credit card having 2 open dates 2017 and 2012 and the signature that was not mine.

Mary stated that Account is not *****, Judgement taken by Blakes, client has made payments, QPC, payslip and ID on clients is attached and Blakes “can proceed as normal”.. And that was it from her.

I told Wendy from Blakes were im receiving all this info that I don’t recall making payments to this credit card, the whole information of this credit doesn’t even correspond and judging by the date from the preaggrement the debt has prescribed.

She said I should contact Nedbank, I told that there’s no way im phoning Nedbank when I don’t owe them and never owed them, they should be phoning Nedbank and she can give them my e-mail address to contact me and I need my name cleared from this judgment immediately. She never responded. I week later I followed up, she just resent what Mary Isaac sent her stating that the account is not *****. In fact she just copy and pasted that part as it was and forwarded it to me as her response.

She never cared to answer none of the questions I asked her about the dates and the signature both her and Mary from Nedbank. Please help!!!!!!!!!
