False Nedbank Advertising

With the increasing interest rates, I approached Nedbank to increase my bond term and was advised to go to the branch. The consultant (Sifiso) at Brooklyn branch made me complete all sorts of forms as if applying for a new homeloan. He then provided me with a reference number to make follow ups with the homeloans department. When I called homeloans, I was told the case has been closed because they never received the supporting documents which I left on the day I went to the branch. The Brooklyn branch manager got involved and a new case was logged.

Follow up on the new case yielded no results as the response was “referred to Frank. ” The Brooklyn branch manager advised me to contact the Collections department which I did and was told I have to wait 3 months before the restructure can be considered. I need to know from Nedbank if I should stop the homeloan payments before they can take me seriously? I am trying to be pro-active to avoid non-payment but you are not providing me with the platform to do so. How do you advertise to be the best bank when you treat your own clients like this?
