False Information from Nedbank Forex

I have traveller's cheques that were issued by Thomas Cooke. I called Nedbank Forex and was told that these traveller's cheques are wortless and that the money is lost. I then walked into a Travelex branch and was told that I was given false information by Nedbank. According to Travelex NEVER expire and can still be cashed. They explained in detail whatb I need to do. Some Nedbank forex staff clearly need training?
