Failure to debit account on time

My review Nedbank MFC is directed to Nedbank MFC, my first vehicle finance debit order was due to go off on the 20th of June, there were sufficient funds in my account and I had provided the bank with the correct banking details however the debit order did not go off as expected then on the 23rd I received an sms that my vehicle finance account is in arrears , How so when all the details were provided?
