Failure to close the bank account

I have a private Nedbank account that I haven’t used over a while now I’ve called several occasions regarding my account that needed to be closed Although I am a private banker and paying the fees ,I was told to go to the bank to close it I keep paying a lot of money to this account for monthly charges

I went to Middelburg mall (Nedbank branch) I did everything ,the process of closing my account on Thursday

Even now the account hasn’t been closed Only the cards are blocked 🚫

Kindly assist with closing the account Because they are just chowing my money for free
