Failing to help a foreign customer
Michael is from Malawi, lives in Diepsloot and has been working as a petrol attended at Caltex. He quit his job so he could use the payout money to go back home and look after his family. The money was paid out into his account (R42860) on 25 March 2015. Soon after that, without his knowledge in what looks like a cloned card, a series of 34 transactions including card swipes and ATM cash withdrawals were performed on his account. <br> <br> He wasn't aware that the money had been paid out and that someone was helping himself to his money. Upon investigation by Nedbank, they told him they would only reimburse him for one transaction (R1500) as it is the only ********** tran
