Facing ************** with nedbank

on Monday the 18th of March 2024 I called nedbank, requesting that they close my fully paid up credit card. I was asked if I'm employed or not. I said I'm not employed, then the agent told me that since I'm not employed. the closure will take time since jm not employed. why am I being discriminated due to my economic status?

Yesterday I called again , was told that the account hasn't been closed coz the physical card hasn't been destroyed. new stories everytime.
