Just an unhappy customer with NEDBANK and never to invest any money there!!! My Mother was ill and Nedbank told me I had to get a Power of Attorney from my Mom to handle her affairs, so I got one from an Attorney and took it to Nedbank. They did not accept the Legal one I had to use there Power of Attorney. So when that was sorted they said someone from Nedbank had to go to my Mother to see if she is alive and if she can communicate. So this was during Covid and nobody came. I even offered to pick up the person from Nedbank, take her to my mother and bring her back to no avail. Them my mother had a stroke in January 2022. I had to put Nedbank aside and took care of my Mom till she sadly passed away on 9 November 2022. Ok I went back to Nedbank again then they needed a Letter of Executorship. I got one and took it to Nedbank in December 2022. Once again Nedbank told me they need to send a member from Nedbank to go to the Master’s office in Johannesburg to see if the Letter of Executorship is valid!!!!! For heavens sake man this is unacceptable. I asked Nedbank OK HOW LONG will it take for the member to go there and they said “well it can take up to 6 months” WHY WHY WHY! I don’t want to ***** my Mothers money. Its only about R50k. What about family who are in desperate need of their loved one’s money. Nedbank you must wake up and be ashamed. Other Banks are much up to date than you are and I hope this message will be an alert for people who want to Invest at Nedbank!
