Error with regards to swiping and withdrawals

I am utterly disappointed in Nedbank. I generally don't carry cash on me and this morning after filling up with fuel, I pulled out my Nedbank card as usual except this time my card was declined although I definitely have funds available. Myself and the petrol attendant tried multiple card machines but eventually I was forced to try and withdraw cash from the available ATM yet I kept receiving the same error 'No sharing allowed'.

After contacting Nedbank to enquire about the problem I was told that they have received a few similar reports and their technicians are addressing the problem. Which is all great, but when I asked whether Nedbank was planning on informing all their clients of the problem I was told that there would be no sms, email or any other form of communication to warn clients that they might not be able to access their funds. There would also be no from of communication to inform us when we would be able to safely use our cards. Problems do happen, but the least Nedbank can do is keep their clients up to date. Not being able to swipe nor withdraw cash is a big problem.
